Holiday Lights Winners!!

The winner in the 2015 Eagle Nest Holiday Lights contest is the home of James and Jane Thornburg, 7905 Shrike Court.  The Thornburgs received a Target gift card for their efforts.  In second place this year was the home of previous winners, Brian and Brandy Schneider, 8331 Mockingbird Lane.  They continue to add to their fantastic display of lights.  In third place was the home of Wayne and Jennifer Wright at 8001 Tanager Lane.  What a fun display! The ENPOA board thanks everyone in the neighborhood who decorate their homes during the holiday season.  The judges had a hard time deciding on the winner.  If you haven't seen these decorated homes, take a drive to appreciate their efforts.  Congratulations to all the winners!!                                                                                                            submitted by Alice Miley

Warbler Way resident adopts lost cat

Image
UPDATE: The cat has found adoptive home in the neighborhood. A Warbler Way resident who fosters kittens for the Humane Society has added the lost animal to her family of cats. The young cat will live in comfort in a dedicated cat room, complete with a cat door. PREVIOUSLY REPORTED: Late in November, a young female ragdoll cat showed up at the backdoor of a resident in the 8000 block of Teel Way. The cat has been spayed, and its front claws have been removed. She is somewhat thin, but her coat looks healthy. If you are the owner or know someone who is missing a similar cat, contact former Eagle Nest President Harry Riebe at t-r@sbcglobal.net. The Riebes are feeding the cat, of course, and would appreciate Eagle Nest's help in finding the pet's proper home.

Fake cops tie up siblings, ransack home in 7300 block of Hague Road

On Nov. 24 about 8 p.m., residents in the 7300 block of Hague Road said three men identifying themselves as police officers pounded on the front door and then forced their way into the house. They tied up the occupants, ransacked the house and made off with a cell phone, a wallet and about $2,000 from a lock box. The residents claimed the intruders had stitched police jackets, a police hat, a walkie talkie and a pager, and went from room to room, yelling "clear, clear, clear" and asking, "where's the safe?" The intruders ransacked the master bedroom, pulled out drawers, flipped things over and emptied the closet. Eventually one of the residents was able to free herself enough to call 911 and report the incident. The intruders took off after a friend appeared at the home unannounced. Police have no suspects, and there were no injuries. Click here for a link to a WTHR (Channel 13) report

Director resigns from Board; interim replacement elected

Fellow residents, We have a new interim Board member -- Michael Jackson (Lot 353), of 7712 White Dove Drive. Michael's addition comes after Director Ben Smith resigned last month, citing growing family and work obligations. We thank Ben for his service, of course, particularly his guidance on zoning/construction issues relative to our various Clubhouse improvements and his efforts in helping to enforce our controlling documents.  Michael attended last month's Board meeting, where he shared his background and then was voted in on an interim basis. His interim term will expire in June 2016, and his seat will be among four up for re-election. Michael has lived in the neighborhood for 15 years and has three boys, ranging from grade school to high school. A native of North Carolina, Michael earned his MBA from Butler in 2006 and currently works as a marketing director in downtown Indianapolis. Michael's contact information is listed under "Contacts" in

Reminder: Notify/seek Board approval before making any lot improvements

Fellow residents, As you may have noticed during recent months, several homeowners throughout the development have made various improvements to their properties. The Board encourages such efforts, of course, because it helps increase the value of our properties and the overall aesthetic appeal of the neighborhood. The issue, however, and the impetus for this blog post, is to remind residents that the Board must be notified in advance and seek approval for all improvements, regardless of scope, size or cost. It’s not a control freak issue -- we simply live in a neighborhood governed by legally binding documents called the Rules and Restrictions, By-laws and Articles of Incorporation. Every homeowner was provided copies by your realtor or bank as part of your signed deed, making them a contract. The documents give the Board the right and responsibility to approve or deny all lot improvements. So what qualifies as an improvement? Basically, it’s anything you do to the visible

Save the date: EagleFest set for October 24

You've heard of Octoberfest, right? Well, our neighborhood is putting on the first annual EagleFest, a BYOB evening event (adults only) at 7 p.m. October 24 at the Clubhouse. It's a prequel to our hugely successful Beer Fest in late January, so here's the drill: Bring your own growler or wine bottle filled with your favorite beverage, maybe a side dish to share, a friend or a neighbor, and commence to enjoy all the goodness that is living in Eagle Nest. The ENPOA social committee will provide Jet's Pizza, brownies, and light munchies. What other fun could there be besides beer, pizza and great neighbors? Card games and other games will be available for attendees. So remember: 7 p.m. October 24 at the Clubhouse. Join us for a fun and relaxing fall neighborhood party. See you then! Neighborhood Crime Watch reorganizing; volunteers sought

As you may recall, newly elected Board member Carolyn Goldenetz has volunteered to coordinate the resurrection of our Neighborhood Crime Watch, which has risen and fallen over the years. Luckily, Eagle Nest doesn't experience many of the problems and issues found in surrounding neighborhoods, and that's due largely to our extremely active resident base and homeowners who keep a close eye on each other and our properties. But crime knows no boundaries, and we occasionally have incidents. With Carolyn's guidance and help from volunteers across the neighborhood, we hope to avoid additional incidents. Carolyn has called and emailed dozens of residents in all corners of our development, and at this writing 22 potential block captains have been contacted. When we have 75 percent of the positions filled, Carolyn will organize the group's first quarterly meeting (date and time TBA). Goals of the group include: teaching residents techniques to reduce the risk of being

Resident to host Women's Bible Study group starting in October

The following group invite was submitted by Eagle Nest resident Sandi Warren:   Are you looking to meet and to get to know more women in our neighborhood? Are you looking to start a relationship with God? Are you looking to grow in your knowledge and understanding of the Bible? Our study group is for all levels of knowledge, and all are welcome. We will be using James: Mercy Triumphs, by Beth Moore (8 sessions) to help us to facilitate it. The first session is targeted to start on Monday, Oct 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. To join or request more information, send an email to Sandi at gswarren0405@comcast.net .

Summer may be over, but it's never too late to join the Eagle Nest Garden Club

Want to know how to best prepare your flower beds, bushes and landscape areas for fall and winter (yes, those cold temps are coming)? Join the Eagle Nest Garden Club, a neighborhood staple since 1978. The purpose of the group is to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening, to exchange experiences, plants and seeds, and to promote neighborhood beautification. In addition to monthly meetings, the group hosts and annual plant auction and voluntarily maintains the landscaping at the 82nd and 75th Street entrances. The club meets the second Monday of every month at the Clubhouse and routinely organizes field trips and features guest speakers at meetings. The group is a member of Central District of the Garden Club of Indiana, Inc., as well as the Central Region National Garden Clubs, Inc. For information or to join the club, contact Garden Club President Sharon Danielson at  Swife52@aol.com .

Pool closing for the season on Friday

Fellow residents, Now that Labor Day has come and gone and summer is beginning to wind down, it's time to wrap up the 2015 Pool season. Our pool will be open 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. the rest of this business week, closing for the season at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11. The pool will not be open this weekend. The Board would like to thank Pool Manager Susan Anderson and her entire staff for all their work this season. Sure, there were hiccups, but the major issues were beyond anyone's control, including an unseasonably cool start to the summer, a record rainy season and heavy cleanup work related to storm damage and an algae bloom. We also would like to thank all residents for their patience and support during our temporary mid-season closure to address the latter. As always, the Board welcomes your comments and suggestions ( click here for contact information ). The Pool is scheduled to reopen the weekend of Memorial Day 2016. ENPOA Board

Coming this weekend: Your 2015-16 Eagle Nest Directory

A heads-up to all Eagle Nest residents: Please check your mailboxes this weekend for your complimentary copy of the 2015-16 Eagle Nest Directory! The booklet is your official guide to our wonderful neighborhood, complete with street and lot maps, homeowner contact information and handy phone numbers. The directories will be delivered Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon to each resident's mailbox. Please be sure to remove your directory this weekend! A big thank you to Brian Schneider and Connie McKee for working hard to keep our directory up to date! If you don't receive a directory by Monday, please contact Secretary/Bookkeeper Chris'e Van Meter at enpoa_sec@att.net and we'll get a copy to you. The Board of Directors

About our new trash roll carts ...

By now, all Eagle Nest residents should have received their 96-gallon waste cart from Republic Services for use as your primary trash container. The Board kindly asks that residents place their carts out of sight from the front of your house. While the carts are convenient and efficient for trash collection, they are unsightly and should be properly stored in your garage or behind your home to remain compliance with our neighborhood controlling documents. The Board thanks you for your cooperation. Some fast facts about the carts from Republic: > Cart use should begin immediately. > One cart is assigned to each home and should remain on the property if you move. > If your cart is stolen, call the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department's non-emergency line at (317) 327-3811 and file a report. Then contact Republic at (317) 917-9300 or www.indywaste.com and provide the police report number. Republic will deliver a new cart. > Carts should be curbside by 7 a.m

Board announces two new Directors

Fellow residents, The Eagle Nest Board of Directors is excited to announce the election of two new Directors during the Annual Meeting earlier this summer. Kim Isaak and Carolyn Goldenetz began their two-year terms in July, and their volunteer posts will end in 2017. Kim, a resident of Quail Court,  has lived in the neighborhood about two years and brings a newcomer's perspective to the Board. She served one month as an interim Director after the departure of Treasurer and Director Brad Bobich, who resigned due to professional and family demands. Kim will serve as ENPOA Treasurer and will work closely with Secretary/Bookkeeper Chris'e Van Meter. Kim can be reached at 413-9793 or kimi.isaak@gmail.com . Carolyn, a longtime resident of Warbler Way, is a familiar face in Eagle Nest. For nearly a decade she worked as the Clubhouse manager, booking reservations, coordinating upkeep of our common grounds and working with our pool managers. Carolyn is well-connected throughout th

Pool operating hours for rest of season

It's hard to believe that Labor Day is just a month away, and that means the Pool season will end shortly thereafter. Following is the remaining operating schedule for 2015: > Regular hours and days of operation through Sunday, August 16. > On Tuesday, August 11, the Pool will open at 4 p.m. The facility will not be open before that time of day because of staffing issues. > Beginning Monday, August 17, weekday operating hours will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and regular operating hours on the weekend. > The Pool will close for the season after regular operating hours on Sunday, September 13. As many know, Labor Day weekend is typically when most area pools close for the year. However, given the unexpected storm damage and resulting algae bloom and closure our facility endured, Pool Manager Susan Anderson and her staff will maintain the aforementioned modified schedule to make up for the lost days of usage. As always, the Board encourages and welcomes feedback and su

Annual Pool Party draws steady crowd

A quick thanks to all who turned out for the annual Eagle Nest Pool Party on Sunday, August 9. Despite the threat of rain (which held off until early evening), the event went on without a hitch and a steady stream of residents turned out to join the fun. Dozens of pieces of chicken and hotdogs and a huge cooler of lemonade provided by the Board were gone by the end of the day, as were the many delicious side dishes provided by residents who attended. Dozens of people passed through the Clubhouse throughout the afternoon, and there were plenty of kids on hand to enjoy the pool and playground. Our lifeguard staff did a fantastic job organizing games with prizes for the kids, too. Thanks to everyone who donated food, desserts and snacks for all to enjoy. Thanks also to our Social Committee for organizing such a fine activity for residents -- longtimers and newcomers -- to gather and enjoy each other's company. Community events like this and your participation help make Eagle N

Join neighborhood crime watch meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Clubhouse

Are you interested in keeping crime out of our neighborhood? All Eagle Nest residents are welcome to attend a meeting of the neighborhood Crime Watch block captains at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the Clubhouse. The meeting coincides with the National Night Out, which is designed for neighbors to come together and get to know one another while learning how to protect ourselves and our homes from invasion and violence. National statistics show a violent crime occurs every 26 seconds. Working together and joining in the National Night Out, our residents can be the change agents who bring awareness to our surroundings and hopefully reduce crime, especially in our neighborhood. Thanks to Eagle Nest Crime Watch coordinator (and recently elected Board member) Carolyn Goldenetz, our Tuesday meeting has been registered with the national group as an official participant, a listing acknowledged by IMPD's Gerardo Becerra, Crime Watch Coordinator-North District. Thank you, Carolyn! Keep

Pool to reopen Sunday, July 19, after weeklong closure from storm damage

Image
Finally, after a complete draining, chemical wash down and refill in the wake of last weekend’s damaging storms, the Pool is scheduled to reopen Sunday, July 19, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It has taken nearly 36 hours to refill our 86,000-gallon pool, and the Eagle Nest Board of Directors thanks all residents for their patience and understanding during this unprecedented closure. As previously communicated, the recent violent storms and heavy rains dumped a lot of dirty water and tree debris into our facility. The result was a diluted chemical balance that led to a green algae bloom and water too dark to swim in safely. Sunday, the shallow end will be open in the morning but the deep end could be restricted until the afternoon, depending on the water clarity. Safety is our #1 priority, of course, so please remember all swimmers must obey Pool rules and staff instructions. The lifeguard staff will determine when the deep end can be used. Violators will be dismissed from the premis

Pool to remain closed due to storm debris; algae bloom; drain and refill this week

Eagle Nest residents, As you may have seen from our recent email and blog post, the Board promised an update on Pool closure due to dark water caused by an algae bloom and storm debris. Unfortunately, we don’t have good news to report. The Pool likely will remain closed for the rest of the week while our pool contractor drains the pool, acid washes the interior, refills it with fresh water and level-sets the chemical balance. What caused the problem? The recent violent storms and associated heavy rains are mainly to blame. Simply put, a lot of dirty water and tree debris from surrounding foliage was dumped in our pool, creating conditions ripe for breeding algae and a concoction too strong for even the toughest of chemical treatments and constant vacuuming to correct. The Board understands the closure is an inconvenience, and we are working as quickly as possible to reopen with water safe to swim in -- both for clarity and quality. We do not have a firm date on reopening, but

Pool closed for algae, storm debris

Fellow Eagle Nest residents, Unfortunately, the Pool is closed until further notice because of an algae problem. The recent heavy rains and storms dumped a lot of outdoor debris into the pool, creating green water too dark to safely swim in. Our pool staff has been working feverishly to vacuum and chemically shock the pool water back to safe limits but unfortunately the outside elements have won this round. Pool Manager Susan Anderson is contacting our pool vendor today to determine next steps. We do not have an ETA on reopening, but we hope to resume normal operations within a few days. The Board understands this is an inconvenience, and we apologize for the temporary closure. We will send out followup communications as more  information becomes available. Feel free to contact me directly if you have questions or concerns. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Scott Thien ENPOA President

BB gun vandalism reported on Quail Court

On or about June 19, a house in the 8300 block of Quail Court had its back patio glass door shot by what police say appears to be a BB gun. No one was hurt, and there are no official suspects. However, this isn't the first time a BB gun incident has been reported in this part of our neighborhood. As you may recall, the Eagle Nest blog reported a related incident in May. Guests of a graduation party noticed a young male hiding in bushes between houses during the early evening, and when approached the young man took off running along Teel Way. The next day, residents found a BB gun rifle where the young man first was spotted, and police responded to investigate. No injuries were reported. As a precaution, police warn residents to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity. Anyone with information or leads about either of these incidents is encouraged to call CrimeStoppers at 262-TIPS (8477). As always, if you see something suspicious, say something -- call 911

This fun event features a parade of children's bicycles, wagons, skateboards and non-motorized scooters through the neighborhood. Flags and streamers will be provided to all participants to decorate their rides. After the parade, the Eagle Nest Social Committee will provide hot dogs with buns, chips and lemonade at the Clubhouse. We ask families to bring a side dish or a dessert to share. After the hot dog supper, families can enjoy the pool and the fellowship with other participants. Other neighborhoods have done parades like this, but we're sure Eagle Nest's effort will be one to remember

Eagle Nest moms of young kids to meet, form playgroups, organize activities

Several Eagle Nest moms with young children have expressed an interest in establishing an informal play group, a great way for moms to connect with other moms in the neighborhood and organize socialization opportunities for their kids. So on at 7 p.m. Monday, June 8, at the Clubhouse, the Social Committee will host a meeting of parents who want to organize such activities. The hope is this initial gathering will evolve into a weekly or monthly event -- perhaps at the Clubhouse, Pool, Playground or at resident's home. It could even grow into a babysitting co-op, which used to be quite popular in the neighborhood years ago. There are many young families in Eagle Nest, so this would be a great opportunity for them to get to know each other. (OK, Dads are welcome, too!) Questions? Free swimming lessons begin this month

Prowler with BB gun reported on Quail Ct.

The Board recently learned about an incident involving a prowler last weekend around Quail Court and Dove Court. Apparently, guests of a graduation party noticed a young male hiding in bushes between houses during the early evening, and when approached young man took off running along Teel Way. The next day, residents found a BB gun rifle where the young man first was spotted, and police responded to investigate. No injuries were reported, but as a precaution police warn residents to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity. Board membership changes, election and annual meeting on June 28

Following are a few updates from the May meeting of the Eagle Nest Board of Directors: Board membership change: Vice President Mike Lathrop has resigned his position and membership from the Board in preparation for his family's move to another neighborhood. Mike was instrumental in leading the ENPOA's warning and violation letters process, a key function in helping maintain our neighborhood's aesthetic appeal and ensuring  resident compliance with city code and our legally binding controlling documents. Over the years, Mike helped educate residents and worked for resolution to address abandoned cars, dead trees, overgrown grass and lot maintenance, as well as act as liaison to the city for abandoned properties and other code needs. Simply put, Mike's experience and guidance was invaluable to the neighborhood and will be sorely missed. Good luck to you and your family, Mike, and thank you for all you've done for our neighborhood! New Vice President: Longtime Bo

Neighborhood Garage Sale is June 4-6

The warm weather has arrived, and that means many residents have begun spring cleaning and purging. Look for those items during Eagle Nest's annual Garage Sale, Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6 , with the neighborhood preview on Thursday, June 4. The Board will advertise the sale in the newspaper. Our neighborhood sale coincides with Castle Cove's, so we hope to share the pass-through traffic. Start the cleaning and planning now! -- Submitted by Alice Miley , Director and Social Committee member

Neighborhood walking group formed

On Tuesday, May 12, Eagle Nest residents will meet at 6 p.m. at the Clubhouse for the initial outing of the Eagle Nest Walking Group in an effort to encourage exercise. The walking group will walk 1.5 miles, beginning and ending at the Clubhouse. All residents are welcome along with pets and strollers! Fast or slow walkers are encouraged to join. The group will plan to meet every Tuesday until bad weather sets in. This is a great way to get to know other Eagle Nest neighbors and get in better shape! The Eagle Nest Social Committee has planned many activities for 2015. Keep watching the blog for more info. A list of the Thursday Night Family Fun nights will be included when pool tags are distributed in mid-May to residents who have paid their dues. The pool will open Memorial Day weekend, weather permitting. -- Submitted by Alice Miley , Director and Social Committee member

Eagle Nest hires new Clubhouse Manager

Image
The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of Social Committee member Kelly Dentler (right) as the Association’s new Clubhouse Manager. As previously posted on the blog, current Manager Kelly Wright is moving to Florida to embark on new adventures in her family's professional and personal lives. Kelly has done an outstanding job during her two years on the job, helping to oversee and coordinate a major renovation of the Clubhouse Pool bathrooms, updating the Clubhouse interior, replacing the Clubhouse roof and securing a new groundskeeper, among other things. Thank you for everything, Kelly, and best of luck! That said, incoming Clubhouse Manager. Kelly Dentler brings extensive experience from the event planning, marketing and restaurant industries, working for such companies as Stuart Anderson’s Cattle Company, CNAC Finance/JD Byrider and Hyatt Hotels in several states. “Meeting new people and helping them plan and organize events is some

Reminder: Annual dues are due May 1

Just a quick reminder for residents who may have forgotten: Eagle Nest annual dues are due by May 1, 2015. Most residents have paid, and for that the Board thanks you. For those who haven't: If payment is not received by June 1, the Board turns unpaid accounts over to the association's lawyer for collection. A late fee and interest will be charged. Your Board members have plans to continue to improve our Clubhouse, Pool and Playground, but we can't do it without the resources. We budget our projects based on everyone paying their dues. Also worth noting: The better shapes our finances are in, the better chance the Board can offer residents lower dues through credits (as has been done the past three years!).  Anyone who still needs to pay can drop their check and dues form in the ENPOA mailbox at the Clubhouse. THANKS! -- Submitted by Alice Miley, ENPOA Director

Successful Egg Hunt - new activities committee members needed

On March 29, about 15 Eagle Nest kids gathered to find eggs during a windy, rainy afternoon.  A good time was had by all.  Thanks to Kathy Cruz and her family who stuffed the 400 plus eggs with candy!    We need some new members on the ENPOA Activities committee.  Active members Kelly Wright (also the clubhouse manager, is moving to Florida, and Angi Corkwell, who has been on the committee the longest, is taking a year leave of absence because of her busy family and work life.  Newer members Kathy Cruz and Renee Schwegman also have more family commitments that require their time right now.  Eagle Nest thanks these wonderful neighbors who helped organize and carry out events. These fun people did much to create a neighborly feel among residents.    The summer family fun evenings need to be planned so anyone who has some ideas and can help with some of the organization needs to contact Alice Miley at 842-7901 ASAP.   We plan to meet in late April to finalize the summer plans.

Announcements of interest for Eagle Nest residents ...

The following announcements were sent to the Eagle Nest Board for consideration by residents: Flower sale: Mary Castle Elementary School is sponsoring its annual flower sale on Thursday, April 13. A variety of plants will be available, including bedding plants, vegetable plants, herbs and hanging baskets. All proceeds benefit the school. Organizers tout the event's convenience, low cost and wide selection of fuller, healthier plants than those found in area stores. Orders must be placed by Friday, March 20, with pickup scheduled for Thursday, April 30 at the school. More information about the variety of plants offered can be found online at www.bloomingbiz.com. To request an order form, contact Ashley Miller at 964-4642 or ashleymiller@msdlt.k12.in.us or Tina McIntosh at 691-5247 or tina@joyshouse.org . Simply put, thank you ... and a reminder

The Board would like to thank those residents who moved their vehicles off our neighborhood streets before the recent snowfall so our plowing contractor could do his job efficiently, effectively and safely. Unfortunately, a few homeowners failed to heed our standing request, and that has resulted in a handful of plowed-in vehicles throughout the neighborhood. Please use caution as you navigate around these road hazards and watch for slick spots. If you see a resident with a plowed in vehicle, join the Board in kindly asking them to move it as soon as possible. The winter weather isn't over, and more ice and snow is possible. Residents are urged to park their vehicles in driveways during snowy conditions or when snow is predicted, especially on the curved sections of our roadways. Why? It's a safety thing. It's a courtesy thing. And it's just the neighborly thing to do. Thanks for the ear and your cooperation. Scott Thien, ENPOA President

Warning to residents; Suspicious person reported on Teel Way

On Thursday, Feb. 5, a resident in the 7600 block of Teel Way reported a suspicious person walking around their house in the afternoon. The homeowners were home at the time, and they thought it might have been a utility meter reader. However, after closer inspection the residents noticed footprints in the snow on the back deck and up to the back door. The resident went outside to investigate and found no footprints near the meter station, indicating the suspicious person was not a utility worker. The residents think the suspicious person was hoping to find an unlocked door or perhaps an empty house for a smash-and-grab. The residents called police, then emailed the Eagle Nest Board to alert fellow neighbors to be on the lookout. Luckily, nothing serious happened in this case; Eagle Nest has been fortunate tto avoid the break-ins, vandalism and other problems troubling our surrounding neighborhoods. The Board credits our tight-knit community of residents and their watchful eyes

Second annual Beer Fest - a success!

Eagle Nest second annual Beer Fest on Sat. Jan. 24 was a good time enjoyed by about 30 residents.  The game playing went on until late, and the different beers were all enthusiastically sampled.  Thanks to social committee members, Kelly Wright, Angi Corkwell, and Kelly Dentler,  for organizing. We will plan to make this an annual event.  It's a good way to meet new neighbors and have fun close to home! submitted by Alice Miley

Snow updates: Move vehicles, snowsticks installed, snowmobile trespassing

As  the expected snowfall continues, the Eagle Nest Board reminds residents to remove vehicles from roadways so our plowing contractor can do his job effectively, efficiently and most importantly safely. Vehicles left in the roadway create a hazard for the plowing crews and for other drivers during slick winter conditions. Please be respectful of your neighbors and other motorists and keep our neighborhood roadways clear to maximize safety. Also, by  now many residents will notice snowsticks along the front of their property lines, at the intersections, near the entrances of all the cul-de-sacs and various curved roadsways throughout the neighborhood. Please do not remove these snowsticks -- the Board spent about $400 in supplies in an attempt to improve winter road safety and protect residents' lot turf during difficult plowing conditions. If you do not want snow sticks on your property, please contact ENPOA President Scott Thien and we will have them removed for you. Lastly,
