Eagle Nest forms social committee

Meet your Eagle Nest Social Committee: co-directors Tina Kappes (left) and Angela Corkwell.

Both residents answered the recent blog call for volunteers to create and coordinate neighborhood events for all homeowners to enjoy. To help them get off to a great start, the Eagle Nest board voted to approve $1,000 for food, supplies, promotional materials and other misc. needs.

Both are full-time working mothers but are willing to carve out some time on behalf of the neighborhood. Tina has lived in Eagle Nest for four years, and Angela has been in the neighborhood for the past seven years. Among ideas they discussed and proposed at the May 16 ENPOA board meeting were a continuation of the Family Fun Day at the pool, an ice cream social, an Easter party and a Halloween event.

But they can't do it alone. If you have time and ideas, they would love to hear from you. Contact Tina via email at Tina.Kappes@atlanticrelocation.com, and contact Angela at angelacorkwell@yahoo.com. Eagle Nest Treasurer Chris'e Van Meter also volunteered to help on the social committee.
