Where do you get this year's Eagle Nest pool passes?

Starting Saturday, May 26, at 10 a.m., pool tags and guest passes will be available for all residents in good standing to pick up at the Eagle Nest pool. Pickup permitted only during during regular operational hours.

The pool is open Saturday, May 26, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, May 27, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., then daily after that. A summer schedule will be posted on this site soon, but weekday hours generally will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Just look for registration table as you enter the pool area; a lifeguard will be waiting with a checklist. Only ENPOA homeowners (translation: adults) may pick up residents' passes and tags -- no non-resident relatives, teens or children may pick up tags on behalf of a household. Residents may be asked to show identification.

All homeowners will receive the number of passes requested when association dues were paid. Additional guest passes (5 visits per card) will be available for a nominal charge. All pool patrons MUST have their pool pass (or guest pass) in order to swim. Further, anyone unable to produce a pool pass will be asked to leave. Authorities will be contacted for those who refuse to comply.

Pool Manager Susan Anderson and her experienced staff of life guards are excited for the 2012 swim season to begin. In the off-season, Susan and the board completely revamped the pump room and installed new equipment (no more costly repairs!); painted the pool bathrooms and floors; and changed the pool water chemical process for more effective and cost-efficient treatment. The board also is exploring the possibility of installing a soft drinks machine, possibly on the lower level under the deck. More on that later.

Questions about your pool tags? Call director Billie Sagers at 288-4702 or email her at enpoa_sagers@att.net

Looking forward to seeing everyone again at the pool!
