Eagle Nest resident seeks witnesses in car accident
Fellow Eagle Nest residents,
On the morning of Sept. 21, while on her way to work, a Teel Way neighbor was hit by a woman running the turn light at 71st and Shadeland. Our Teel Way neighbor was stopped and when the light turned green she headed through the intersection and was hit. Apparently, the other driver is disputing that sequence of events. Unfortunately, no witnesses stopped to assist and as a result it's one word against another.
Our Teel Way neighbor recently wrote, "I was hoping we might be able to put a little entry on the site to see if any of neighbors were traveling the intersection around 7:50 a.m.-8 a.m. that morning and saw what happened. I am desperate to prove she was at fault. I have never had a claim on my insurance and don't want to be blamed for something I was not in control of."
If you saw what happened or have information about the Sept. 21 incident, please contact blog editor Scott Thien at scottthien@comcast.net and he'll relay the message.
