Social events continue in Eagle Nest

Plan to celebrate the fall season with the next Eagle Nest social event, the Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, Oct. 26th at 5 p.m. at the clubhouse. This fall festival will also include a Halloween Costume Contest for the kids.  Resident chefs who want to participate should bring a crock pot of their favorite chili.  There will be a $25 prize for the winner.  We'll have desserts and veggies too, but if attendees want adult beverages, it's BYOB.

Other social events to come include the Winter Bizarre with neighborhood Direct Sales Consultants on Sunday, Nov. 24, from 1-5 p.m. at the clubhouse.  All direct sales consultants in the neighborhood are welcome to set up a table for their products.  If out -of-the-neighborhood consultants want to participate, the cost will be $15.  One donated item from each vendor will be part of a raffle for attendees.

With the arrival of the new year, events will continue.  Come and taste what's brewing in the neighborhood!  Many residents are brewing their own beer or wine, so start the brewing and share your product on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 at Eagle Nest first Brew Party.  Your can bring your own brew or bring a growler of your favorite local brewery.

For future, future planning, the Easter Egg Hunt will be Sunday, April 13, 2014.
