Join the fun: Garden Club's annual plant auction May 19
Interested in making your lawn, garden and flower beds more
attractive? Looking for landscaping ideas or tips to rejuvenate your lawn after our harsh winter? Attend a meeting -- or better yet join! -- the Eagle Nest Garden Club.
The next meeting is Monday, April 14. Participation is free.
Can't make the meeting? Then be sure to mark your calendar for the Garden Club's annual plant auction on Monday, May 19, at 7p.m. at the Clubhouse.
"This is always a fun event where members and Eagle Nest residents bring their divided potted perennials, plant transplants, new annuals or perennials and cut flower arrangements," said Garden Club President Sharon Danielson, "The auction is a great opportunity to add to your plant collection at a very reasonable price. And you can enjoy some great gardening fellowship at the same time."
Sharon added the club plans several gardening-related field trips throughout the year, such as tours and speaker series.
The group meets the second Monday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Eagle Nest Clubhouse, where members host informative programs and speakers about gardening. Our club is nationally certified and so popular that it draws several residents from surrounding neighborhoods.
