New pool hours announced for rest of swim season; warning about slick floors
As summer winds down, so too will activity at the Eagle Nest Pool. Following are revised hours for the rest of this year's swimming season:
> Sunday, Aug. 17 through Sunday Aug. 24: normal operating hours.
> Monday, Aug. 25 through Friday, Aug. 29: 4 to 8 p.m. only
> Saturday, Aug. 30 through Monday, Sept. 1 (Labor Day): regular operating hours.
> The Pool officially closes for the year on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
Also, please exercise caution when walking in the newly remodeled Pool bathrooms. The floors can get slick when wet, so please no running and watch your step. The Board is working to find non-slick mats to put down until our contractor can improve the floor texturing, probably sometime after Labor Day.
Also, please do not let children congregate in the bathroom. The (working!) showers and handicapped benches are not toys, so the Board asks parents to help ensure our facilities are respected and used properly. If you see something out of order, please let the lifeguards know.
Thanks, and enjoy the rest of the summer!
