Vehicle vandalism reported on Teel Way
A resident in the 7800 block of Teel Way reported that two of her vehicles were vandalized on Tuesday, Oct. 14, sometime between 3 and 7 a.m. Apparently, the vandals poured sugar into the gas tanks of the vehicles, one of which was parked in her driveway and one in the street in front of her house.
The resident said a police report was filed and that her insurance company estimated the damage at $2,800.
The resident emailed to the Eagle Nest Board: "I wanted to make sure that our neighbors are aware. We have since made sure that all of my vehicles have gas caps that lock. We have lived in the neighborhood since 2001, and I have never experienced such an awful event."
