Annual Meeting is set for 7 p.m. June 26; watch the mail for your ballot and vote!

The Board of Directors for the Eagle Nest Property Owners Association will hold the Annual Meeting at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at the Clubhouse. All residents in good standing are welcome to attend.

The meeting will begin with regular business, including monthly reports from officers, staff and committee chairs, then conclude with an election to fill four seats expiring in June held by President Scott Thien, Vice President Jason Van Meter, Director/Social Events Coordinator Alice Miley and Interim Director/Budget Committee Member Michael Jackson.

All four have announced they intend to seek re-election. The Board urges residents to support their candidacy when casting votes. Why? All of the aforementioned members:
  • Played an integral role in providing $40 credits toward annual dues two consecutive years, the result of continued successful management of our Association finances.
  • Approved construction of our new Playground and recent Pool landscaping, as well as approved plans to install picnic tables and a handicapped accessible sidewalk to the Pool.
  • Approved the remodeling of our outdated Pool bathrooms, a much-needed facelift of the Clubhouse interior and restorative work on the Pool walls, the first major repairs to the facility in nearly a decade.
  • Supported the continued success and expansion of Family Fun Nights, which provide weekly kids activities and food trucks, as well as a variety of popular social events like our Colts Watch Party, Brewfest, Annual Pool Party, July 4 celebration and more.
Formal letters with more specifics and a ballot will be mailed to residents in good standing in the coming weeks, but in the meantime this blog post serves as official 30-day notice of the Annual Meeting, per our ENPOA controlling documents.
