2nd Annual Eagle Nest Curb Appeal Award winners announced
Well, the secret nominations are in, so it’s time to announce the winners of the 2nd annual Eagle Nest Curb Appeal Awards. Drum roll for the 2017 winners, please …
How do you win a Curb Appeal Award? Basically, it comes down to how your property appears from the curb. The judges -- two of last year’s winners and a Board member -- looked at every lot in the development and based their selections on the landscaping presentation and overall condition of the home. Judging was done the second week of August. (Previous winners were not eligible to win.)
First place (right): 8031 Teel Way (Lot 52, Harry and Linda Riebe). The Riebes (Harry is a former president of the Eagle Nest Board) win a $75 gift card.
Second place (right): 8031 Tanager Lane (Lot 268, Joseph and Pam Meadors). The Meadorses win a $50 gift card.
Third place (right): 7809 Nightingale Court (Lot 332, Jim and Claudette Lane home). The Lanes (Claudette is head of our Garden Club) win a $25 gift card.

Curb Appeal Award winners set the gold standard for home ownership in Eagle Nest, and they exemplify why our neighborhood continues to a popular residential destination. Well-kept properties translate into solid property values, and that's something we all can appreciate. A big thank you goes out to these property owners!
For the few weeks, each of the winners will display a Curb Appeal Award winner sign in their front yard, so residents can easily spot these exemplary properties.
