Annual Meeting set for June 26; Board election ballots in mail soon

Fellow residents,

Please note the Eagle Nest Annual Meeting and Board Election is 6:30 p.m. June 26 at the Clubhouse. All residents in good standing are welcome to attend and cast ballots.

Terms for three Board members – Carolyn Goldenetz, Judith Buddenbaum and Kim Isaak -- expire in June, creating three open positions. As of this writing, Goldenetz and Isaak have announced they are seeking re-election. Director Buddenbaum has not yet declared her intentions.

Write-in candidates are welcome, but all nominees must be residents in good standing and present at the meeting to accept their nomination.

If you would like to submit your candidacy, please email a short bio and your “platform” (i.e. why you are running, skills/experience, goals for the neighborhood, etc.) to Eagle Nest President Scott Thien at scottthien@comcast.net by June 13, 2019. Your information will be shared on our blog for residents to review.

Serving as a volunteer Board member is a great way to meet more neighbors, as well as help determine priorities for the neighborhood, foster a sense of community and ensure our development remains a residential destination.

Please watch the mail the week of June 17 for your official ballot. When you receive your ballot, please fill out and return it to the secure Clubhouse mailbox at 8075 Teel Way by 6:30 p.m. June 26. If you do not receive a ballot before the meeting, please email enpoa_sec@att.net to request one.

On behalf of the Eagle Nest Board, thank you!

Scott Thien
Eagle Nest President
