Main Pool closed for 24 hours after fecal accident; reopening expected Saturday
Eagle Nest residents,
Unfortunately, the main Pool is closed for the next 24 hours so we can address a water-quality issue related to a baby diaper fecal accident. Our lifeguard staff is in the process of cleaning the facility and chemically “shocking” the water with the goal of reopening the facility first thing Saturday morning.
In addition, the baby pool also is closed for a similar issue. Unfortunately, this pool requires county health department authorization to reopen, and that may not happen until next week. Watch the blog for a reopen date.
In the meantime, we kindly ask that children with diapers stay out of the main pool. This will help avoid another closure due to accidental leaks.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but the health and safety of residents is our No. 1 priority, of course. Thank you.
