Crime Watch meeting cancelled for Aug. 6
Eagle Nest residents,
Due to unexpected staffing issues, the Crime Watch/National Night Out meeting set for Tuesday, August 6, has been cancelled.
We apologize for the late notice. Despite the cancellation, we hope residents will continue the spirit of National Night Out by leaving their porch lights on in solidarity of our anti-crime efforts.
Launched in 1984, National Night Out began as an effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie and alert criminals that neighborhoods like Eagle Nest are organized and fighting back. Today, National Night Out involves millions of neighbors in all 50 states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide.
Our next Crime Watch meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, and will focus on preparing our homes for winter and any crime news that matters to our neighborhood. Please join us and learn how you can help Eagle Nest remain a safe, healthy neighborhood.
If you have questions or want to get involved with the Eagle Nest Crime Watch, please contact Board member Carolyn Goldenetz at goldenetz@gmail.com
