Pick up your Pool access fob today 1-8 p.m.

If you haven't obtained your Pool access fob yet, today is the last day for in-person pickup. Eagle Nest Board staff will be set up outside the main gate from 1-8 p.m. today. A few things to note:
  • What to bring: Your lot number and ID. Also, today would be a great time to turn in your Board election ballot.
  • Who is eligible: Only residents whose dues are paid and cleared can obtain pool fobs.
  • Want more fob info? ll residents were mailed a Q&A along with their Annual Meeting notice (June 26) and Board election ballot. Didn't get it? Let us know and we'll provide you a copy.
  • Pool fob agreement: Our waiver/fob acceptance letter was mistakenly omitted from our Q&A mailing, so residents can sign one at the Pool when obtaining their fob.
  • Guest pass protocol: We're still working with our legal team to develop a release form. Details coming soon, but guests are welcome if accompanied by residents with active fob access.
  • Can't get your fob today? No worries, we'll get one to you. Simply email enpoa_sec@att.net and scottthien@comcast.net and we'll process your request and schedule a pickup time.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation with our distribution process. Sure, we could have mailed the fobs, but that would have cost $500 or more for secure delivery. Your friendly Board is always looking for ways to save money and keep our annual dues to a minimum, so every bit helps. Enjoy the pool!

The Board hopes everyone’s fall season is off to a great start. October is shaping up to be a busy month in Eagle Nest – read on! 2023 Curb Appeal Awards winners announced! The Board is proud to recognize the following lots as winners of our 2023 Curb Appeal Awards, presented to Eagle Nest owners for their outstanding lot and house maintenance. First place (tied): 8031 Teel Way , above left, (Lot 52, Clayton Napier) and 8111 Warbler Way , above right (Lot 229, Todd and Rokeena Williams).  Both homes underwent extensive exterior renovations in recent years, including new roofing, new siding, new paint, wood repair, landscaping and more (all pre-approved by the Rules and Restrictions Committee, by the way). The owners could have saved considerable money by moving to a newer home in another neighborhood, but they chose to stay and invest in their properties. Board Update: Pool Party with free food, new fob access, cleanup crew recap; Annual Garage Sale June 7-8; dues deadlines approaching and more!

Hello, Eagle Nesters! The Board hopes your spring is off to a great start. It’s hard to believe with all the cold, rainy weather of April that the Pool will be open in barely a month. In preparation for that, it’s time to share a few updates about the 2024 swim season: Nearly a dozen residents turn out to deep clean the Pool A huge thanks goes out to the volunteer team led by Bittern Lane residents John and Cindy Spicklemire for organizing a deep clean of Pool facility on Saturday, April 27. The team of 12 spent hours power washing the chairs to address years of sunblock stains and removing wall grime, while others pulled weeds, cleaned the tables and swept up debris. In return, the Board brought in Jimmy John’s sandwiches, chips and water to keep our cleaning crew fueled up. That was a small price to pay for what would have cost thousands of dollars in labor and time to hire a contractor to do the same work. Board update: Pool closing Labor Day, annual dog swim, Curb Appeal Awards, live music coming to Clubhouse!

Pool closes Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4  All good things come to and end, as the saying goes, and that includes our 2023 Pool season. Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4, is the last day of operation for our facility, with hours from noon to 8 p.m. It’s been a great summer of swimming, despite a few mechanical and staffing issues, so please be sure to thank Pool Manager Samantha Burns and her lifeguard staff for a job well done. For the most part, our facility was staffed and open daily the entire summer, unlike many of the city’s public pools – including nearby Sahm Park. We hope to see all our guards back next year, but if you know someone interested in joining the Eagle Nest Pool staff, please contact Samantha. In the meantime, enjoy these last days of swimming!
