October Crime Watch Meeting agenda: lighting, vacation tips, and a special IMPD guest!

We have a full agenda lined up for our October Crime Watch Meeting at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Clubhouse:

  • Property lighting: With the time change approaching, less light can mean more crime. How well-lit is your house and property?
  • Vacation precautions: Traveling for the upcoming holidays? Do you tell your neighbors in case something suspicious happens at your place?
  • Situational awareness: How alert and vigilant are you? What are some basic personal safety tips?

Join us for these topics and more as residents come together to create a culture of neighborhood safety. IMPD North District Crime Watch Specialist Gerardo Becerra is our special guest and will add to add to the conversation!
If you’re looking to get involved in the neighborhood this is the perfect opportunity! Please RSVP on our Facebook page so we have an accurate headcount for refreshments. Questions? Email encrimewatch@att.net
