Urgent Board request: Remove all vehicles from roads before snow arrives

We’ve all heard about the snow coming Sunday and Monday. And depending on which news outlet or weather app you follow, accumulations could range from 4 t o7 inches. Freezing rain also is possible.

To help ensure resident safety, the Board requests all vehicles be moved off our roadways and courts so our plowing contractor can work quickly and efficiently.

Neither the Board nor our plowing contractor will be responsible for vehicles that are "plowed in" because they are in the way. Any vehicle that poses a hazard – particularly those at intersections or on curves – could be towed in the interest of public safety.

Please spread the word. If your neighbor routinely parks in the street, ask them to move their vehicle(s) for the sake of our community. We realize it may be a temporary inconvenience, but nobody likes having to navigate around icy mounds left by cars, especially on slick roads.

Also, please be patient. We will plow the neighborhood -- twice if needed -- but we have to time the work to the storm. For snow big events, our contractor will let an accumulation build up before working our neighborhood. It may be hours into the snow before you'll see a plow.

Why? We are charged every time our contractor plows. We simply can't afford to clear the roads at every two inches. In addition, we aren't our contractor's only customer, so we'll be in line for help like everyone else.

Questions or concerns about our snow removal? Contact Board President Scott Thien or Clubhouse Manager Kelly Dentler. The Board appreciates your patience and understanding. Stay safe!
