New members elected to Eagle Nest board of directors
Congratulations to new and returning Eagle Nest Directors Mike Lathrop, Judith Buddenbaum and Brad Bobich. The trio was elected during ENPOA's annual meeting at the Clubhouse on Sunday, June 23.
Mike is returning for his second two-year term, while Judith and Brad will be serving their first terms. Their responsibilities include attending monthly board meetings (currently held Sunday evenings) and voting on key neighborhood business. Each will serve a two-year term, a volunteer post lasting until June 2015. (Click here to read their bios in a previous post.) A full list of directors is listed under the "Contacts" tab on the right of the page.
A total of 48 ballots were cast -- about 1/8 of eligible residents -- in one of the largest voting returns in recent memory. Three residents attended the annual meeting.
The board of directors also voted to elect Scott Thien as president, and Mike Lathrop as vice president. Scott has been acting president since the beginning of the year after the resignation of Jason Herche. Mike has been the head of the board's warnings and violations committee and will continue to serve in that role.
The board's next monthly meeting is 7 p.m. July 21 at the Clubhouse. As always, any Eagle Nest resident is welcome to attend our board meetings -- a great way to meet your neighbors, share your questions/suggestions/concerns, and see what it takes to run a neighborhood our size.
