Eagle Nest moms of young kids to meet, form playgroups, organize activities

Several Eagle Nest moms with young children have expressed an interest in establishing an informal play group, a great way for moms to connect with other moms in the neighborhood and organize socialization opportunities for their kids.

So on at 7 p.m. Monday, June 8, at the Clubhouse, the Social Committee will host a meeting of parents who want to organize such activities. The hope is this initial gathering will evolve into a weekly or monthly event -- perhaps at the Clubhouse, Pool, Playground or at resident's home. It could even grow into a babysitting co-op, which used to be quite popular in the neighborhood years ago. There are many young families in Eagle Nest, so this would be a great opportunity for them to get to know each other. (OK, Dads are welcome, too!)
