Reminder: April 30 deadline for annual dues quickly approaching
A reminder to all Eagle Nest residents that the deadline to submit your 2016 Annual Dues of $350 is Saturday, April 30. On May 1, any unpaid lots are considered late and forfeit the $40 credit extended by the Board earlier this year.
On June 1, any unpaid lots will be turned over to the Association's lawyer for collection and subject to late fees and court filing costs. We hope it won't come to that, of course.
Historically, Eagle Nest residents have had an excellent history of paying on time, and that has helped avoid dues increases for nearly a decade. Only three or four lots failed to pay last year, resulting in collection proceedings and in some cases liens. At this writing about one-third of the neighborhood still show balances due. Obviously, that leaves a big chunk of change to collect by Saturday.
If you haven't submitted your dues, please ensure it is postmarked by April 30, or better yet, drop it in the secure mailbox in front of the Clubhouse, 8075 Teel Way.
