A word (or two) about snow removal (and how you can help)
Now that winter is here, three quick reminders about snow removal in our development:
First, the Board only plows our streets and courts when snowfall amounts exceed 2 inches. It’s expensive to plow (and salt), costing thousands of dollars for each snow event. As a result, if warmer temps are forecast within a day or so you may see snow-covered roads for a time.
Second, when big storms approach, please move your vehicles off our
streets and into your driveway so our plowing contractor can do his work safely
and efficiently. No one likes to navigate around snowed in cars, so please be
considerate to your fellow residents and keep our roads clear.
And third, as always, please use caution and slow down while driving through
our development as roads will be slick, especially when temps dip below
freezing.
In case you missed it …
82nd Street/I-69 ramps closing: On Tuesday, Jan. 30, the exit from I-69 South to 82nd Street, the 82nd Street exit to southbound I-69 and I-465 East exit to 82nd Street to northbound I-69 will close until late 2024 as part of the ClearPath465 interstate construction project. For the latest updates, go to www.ClearPath465.com to register for email updates, as well as follow the project on social media.
On behalf of the Board,
Scott Thien, Eagle Nest President
