Grab your swimsuit: The Pool opens at noon June 7! Check your mailbox for tags, mandatory release form
The wait is over! The Eagle Nest Pool opens
for the 2020 season at noon Sunday, June 7. If your dues are current, your pool
tags, a copy of pool rules and a mandatory release form were delivered to your
mailbox on Saturday. Added bonus: Our
Ice Cream Social for kids is at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Clubhouse (see
the lifeguards for the treats), so come join the fun!
Given the COVID-19 climate, we have new protocols all residents must observe. Failure to comply with these mandates or guard instructions will be cause for ejection and possible loss of pool privileges. It also could result in the closure of our facility if the health department finds us in violation. The COVID-19 protocols are posted at the entrance, on the interior fence perimeter, in the restrooms and under the Clubhouse deck. Please take a moment and familiarize yourself with them:
If you don’t have tags in your mailbox, your account may not be current (or your check may not have cleared yet). Questions about tags can be sent to Secretary/Bookkeeper Chris’e Van Meter at enpoa_sec@att.net.

It also could result in the closure of our facility if the health department finds us in violation. The COVID-19 protocols are posted at the entrance, on the interior fence perimeter, in the restrooms and under the Clubhouse deck. Please take a moment and familiarize yourself with them:
· 100-person capacity. Lifeguards can deny entry
or dismiss patrons to enforce this order.
· All patrons must have a signed release on file
with the Association. (Please give your signed form to the guard at your first
visit. The release covers one household for the entire season.)
· All patrons must present a valid Pool tag. Each patron
must have a tag, not one tag for a family.
· No non-resident guests permitted. (This is
guidance from our legal counsel)
· All patrons must sanitize chairs after use. (See
guards for cleaning supplies)
· No masks while in the water.
· One person in the bathroom at a time (unless
parents with family members).
· 6-foot social distancing must be maintained in
the water and on the pool deck.
If you don’t have tags in your mailbox, your account may not be current (or your check may not have cleared yet). Questions about tags can be sent to Secretary/Bookkeeper Chris’e Van Meter at enpoa_sec@att.net.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation in helping
maintain our residents’ safety – and for your patience. It took some time to
prepare for the COVID-19 requirements as part of the county’s Phase 3 reopening,
and we wanted to ensure we had everything right. (Unfortunately, the sports
courts and playground must remain closed until Phase 4 guidelines are
announced.)
If you have questions or concerns about the facility,
contact Pool Manager Samantha Burns at samanthaburns51@gmail.com or Board
President Scott Thien at scottthien@comcast.net.
Also, be sure to bookmark the Eagle Nest blog and our Facebook
page for the latest neighborhood news, events and
updates. If you want to join our email list (your contact information will not
be sold), email your request to enpoa_sec@att.net.
Enjoy the pool!
