  • March 25, 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.: Free yoga classes (residents only, 40 max participants)
  • March 19, 6:30 p.m.: Board of Directors meeting
  • March 23, 6 p.m.: First meeting of the Eagle Nest Beautification Team (Read more)
  • March 27, 5:30 p.m.: Annual Easter Egg Hunt! (Read more)
April
  • April 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29: 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.: Free yoga classes (residents only, 40 max participants)
May
  • May 6, 13, 20, 27: 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.: Free yoga classes (residents only, 40 max participants)

NON-CLUBHOUSE EVENTS

82 nd Street road construction closure April 7-15 According to an April 2 release from the City of Indianapolis, 82 nd Street will be closed starting Monday, April 7, to Tuesday, April 15, between Craig Street and Castleton Road (basically between Speedway and Sparkling Image) for Nickel Plate Trail construction and railroad track removal. Detour signage will direct drivers to use Allisonville Road, 96th Street and I-69 to navigate around the closure. Businesses in the area will remain accessible to the public, Roberts wrote. Don’t get caught off guard! Plan ahead and leave early for work or school, as this will be a major disruption for the next week. (Take note, Starbucks lovers!) Board Update: Pool Party with free food, new fob access, cleanup crew recap; Annual Garage Sale June 7-8; dues deadlines approaching and more!

Hello, Eagle Nesters! The Board hopes your spring is off to a great start. It’s hard to believe with all the cold, rainy weather of April that the Pool will be open in barely a month. In preparation for that, it’s time to share a few updates about the 2024 swim season: Nearly a dozen residents turn out to deep clean the Pool A huge thanks goes out to the volunteer team led by Bittern Lane residents John and Cindy Spicklemire for organizing a deep clean of Pool facility on Saturday, April 27. The team of 12 spent hours power washing the chairs to address years of sunblock stains and removing wall grime, while others pulled weeds, cleaned the tables and swept up debris. In return, the Board brought in Jimmy John’s sandwiches, chips and water to keep our cleaning crew fueled up. That was a small price to pay for what would have cost thousands of dollars in labor and time to hire a contractor to do the same work. Board Update May 2025: Pool fob details, dues reminder, 2024 homes sales prices, Board election reminder, 82nd St. closure

Pool opening, fob activation on target for May 25 Hard to believe with the recent cooler temperatures that our Pool is scheduled to open in less than three weeks! But when we do, Pool Manager Samantha Burns reports we should be at full staff! That means our fantastic facility will be open daily from noon to 8 p.m. through most of August! Now would be a good time to locate your Pool security access fob so you have it ready on opening day. Keep in mind, your fob will only work if your annual dues have been paid (and no you can’t pay the same day and expect to get in, as it takes a few days to process.) If you’re new to Eagle Nest since last September, please contact Board Vice President Jason Van Meter at jpvanmeter@sbcglobal.net to make arrangements to secure your fob. (Sorry, one fob per lot.)
