Crime spikes in area around Eagle Nest

Crime knows no barriers, so no neighborhood is safe from thieves, burglars and other law-breakers. Fortunately, our residents have reported very little trouble this year, a fact police attribute to the watchful eyes of neighbors and general precautions residents take in securing their homes and vehicles.

Unfortunately, there has a been a growing rash of incidents in the neighborhoods and businesses around Eagle Nest. Click here to see the updated log of area crimes as reported by BRAG (Binford Redevelopment and Growth Program). It's not all-inclusive, but it shows a troubling trend of car break-ins, home burglaries and scams on the Northeastside.

And above all else, if you see something suspicious, say something -- call 911!
