Pool closed due to poor water clarity; watch our blog and Facebook page for updates
Due to poor water clarity, our Pool will be closed today, Thursday, Sept. 3, and Friday, Sept. 4, as the Board considers options and next steps, if any. If we can't find a timely, cost-effective solution to improve the water safety, the facility will close for the season. But that hasn't happened yet. We've been open 93 out of 107 days, which is a pretty good run, considering the age of our facility and that many pools close after school starts. We also outlasted Sahm Park Pool, one of the city's largest facilities, which didn't even open this year due to lack of staff. Please watch our Facebook page and blog site for updates.
