Do you compost? Want to learn how?
These might seem like crazy questions in mid-February, but spring will be here before you know it and that means time to prepare the garden, flower beds, landscape plantings and more. The Eagle Nest Garden Club is ready to dig in, too.
Next month, on March 11, the club will host local composting expert Keith O'Dell during its regular monthly meeting. O'Dell, of Fishers, will share tips on composting, and how red worms can benefit the organic process and improve the overall health of your landscape.
Read more about O'Dell's work on his website: www.castawaycompost.com
The garden club meets at 7 p.m. the second Monday of every month at the Clubhouse. The meetings are free and open to any Eagle Nest resident. Questions may be directed to club president Claudette Lane at jklane@att.net
