Food truck lineup week of June 15: Serendipity, Union Jack and Scout’s Traveling Strawberry Festival (new!)

This week we continue our great run of food trucks with two popular favorites and a tasty newcomer for dessert! Here’s who and when to head to the Clubhouse:

Serendipity, Monday, June 15, 5 to 8 p.m.: Winner of the 2019 Central Indiana Food Truck Battle, Serendipity is back by popular demand with its eclectic menu of crab cakes, elk burger sliders, hand-cut truffle fries and more. Menu below.

Click here to pre order: http://serendipitytruck.square.site  (Reminder: You can order now, but the truck won't be there until 5 p.m. or so.) For your health security and safety, Serendipity prefers no-contact online payments, but credit cards will be accepted on site.

Union Jack, Tuesday, June 16, 5 to 8 p.m.: That’s right, the renowned, decades-old Broad Ripple favorite is bringing back its pork tenderloins, Bavarian pretzel bread sticks and queso, fish and chips, mac and cheese and more. Menu below.

Scout’s Traveling Strawberry Festival, Thursday, June 18, 5 to 7:30 p.m.: June is strawberry season in Indiana – and @ScoutsTreatTruck is bringing that taste of summer to our neighborhood! Stop by for healthy servings of strawberries, ice cream, whipped cream on a shortcake biscuit for a mere $7.50 (cash or credit). Locally operated for nearly a decade, Scout’s is a partner of @greiners1969, @MacGenieTruck and @derpretzelwagen, so you know it has to be good. Not into strawberry shortcake (for shame!)? A limited supply of cupcakes will be available, too. This is the perfect family outing, so grab the kids, the grandparents or your neighbors and enjoy a great dessert at the Clubhouse!

Obligatory fine print: As always, please observe CDC guidelines on social distancing and use of masks, and be careful entering and leaving the Clubhouse parking lot so you don't run over fellow neighbors. Also, the Board asks residents to park in the back lot to keep the traffic pathways clear.

If you have food truck suggestions, please contact Board President Scott Thien at
scottthien@comcast.net. Stay safe, stay healthy!
