Board Update week of May 23: Pool season and tags, Annual meeting, Jet’s Pizza and food trucks, garage sale reminder
Memorial Day is quickly approaching, and that means our Pool opening is a week away! We are targeting noon Monday, May 30, as the first official day of operation. Depending on weather and the all-clear from the Marion County Health Department, we may open a day earlier. Watch our Facebook page and blog for updates on that. In the meantime, following are key Q&As about this year’s Pool season: Question: What are the opening and closing dates? Answer: The Pool opens Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day), and closes Monday, Sept. 5 (Labor Day). Q: What are the hours of operation? A: Noon to 6 p.m. daily, with the possibility of longer hours on the weekends if we can hire a couple more guards. Q: Why are the hours of operation a little shorter this year? A: Lack of qualified staffing.
