Residents safe after fire damages Tanager Lane home; Board launches GoFundMe page for family donations

Imagine waking up to the smell of smoke. And within hours, your house is burned beyond repair, nearly everything you own destroyed.

That's what happened to the Dixon family at 7826 Tanager Lane. On Saturday morning, Feb. 21, a fire started in the garage and quickly spread throughout the home.

Thankfully, John and Elizabeth escaped without injury but with only the clothes on their backs. Two of their four dogs didn't survive. The two-story home: likely a total loss.

Now, the Eagle Nest Board hopes residents will help these neighbors in great need. Please, click here to donate to our GoFundMe page.

Give whatever you can. No donation is too small. Share the GoFundMe link and spread the word to your neighbors, friends, churches and other networks.

Thank you in advance for your
generosity and support. Questions? Contact Board President Scott Thien at scottthien@comcast.net.
