Get ready for summer: Pool fob pickup 1-3 p.m. Sunday, May 31


See this little gem? It’s the key to your summer Pool fun in Eagle Nest! If you don’t have your Pool gate access fob (and your dues are paid, with check cleared as of May 28), stop by the Pool from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 31, and pick yours up.

Co-Pool Manager Andrew Taylor will be onsite to distribute them. Please bring your ID with Eagle Nest address and sign our replacement/damage equipment agreement and you’ll be all set. (Sorry, only one fob per lot.) If you lost yours, be advised there is a replacement fee.

Reminder: The deadline for annual dues is Sunday, May 31. You can drop your check for $570 in our secure Clubhouse mailbox, 8075 Teel Way, or have them postmarked by May 31 to avoid late fees. Please be aware it takes a few days to process your dues and activate your fob, so Pool access isn’t instant. We realize that’s an inconvenience, but invoices were mailed in February and we are not positioned to handle a crush of last-minute payments in real-time.

Hello, Eagle Nesters! The Board hopes your spring is off to a great start. It’s hard to believe with all the cold, rainy weather of April that the Pool will be open in barely a month. In preparation for that, it’s time to share a few updates about the 2024 swim season: Nearly a dozen residents turn out to deep clean the Pool A huge thanks goes out to the volunteer team led by Bittern Lane residents John and Cindy Spicklemire for organizing a deep clean of Pool facility on Saturday, April 27. The team of 12 spent hours power washing the chairs to address years of sunblock stains and removing wall grime, while others pulled weeds, cleaned the tables and swept up debris. In return, the Board brought in Jimmy John’s sandwiches, chips and water to keep our cleaning crew fueled up. Eagle Nest Board update for April 2026: dues, streetlights, potholes, suspicious vehicles, upcoming events and more

Now that spring has sprung in Eagle Nest, summer isn’t far behind – barely two months away! With that, the Board has a few updates and event announcements to pass along: Package delivery alert: Suspicious vehicles trolling streets If you order from Amazon or other delivery sites, take note: Residents along Warbler Way recently reported suspicious vehicles (shown) driving slowly along the street, possibly looking for packages. One vehicle even tailed a U.S. Postal Service truck for blocks as it made its deliveries one day. If you expect a package to be delivered while you are away or at work, the Board suggests you ask a neighbor to grab the package for you or time your deliveries for when you are home. Board Update April 2025: 82nd St. closure, dues reminder, storm drain issues, Easter Egg Hunt, Annual Meeting and Board election

82 nd Street road construction closure April 7-15 According to an April 2 release from the City of Indianapolis, 82 nd Street will be closed starting Monday, April 7, to Tuesday, April 15, between Craig Street and Castleton Road (basically between Speedway and Sparkling Image) for Nickel Plate Trail construction and railroad track removal. Detour signage will direct drivers to use Allisonville Road, 96th Street and I-69 to navigate around the closure. Businesses in the area will remain accessible to the public, Roberts wrote.
