Save the date: Annual Easter Egg Hunt is 1-2 p.m. Saturday, April 8

Image
Save the date, then join us: Our annual Easter Egg Hunt, a longtime Eagle Nest family tradition, will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday, April 8. Hunt begins promptly at 1:10 p.m.* Bring the kids and grandkids to gather candy-filled eggs around the Clubhouse and Playground area, compliments of the Board (weather permitting). What to bring: egg basket and your cell phone for great family pics! Group photo: After the hunt, gather on the Clubhouse steps for a photo with all our little Eagle Nesters. Special ask: Please use caution entering and exiting the Clubhouse parking lot, as we likely will have little people darting around. * Ages 4 and younger begin the hunt, with all older kids a couple minutes later. Residents take top prizes in Chili Cook-off and Beerfest

Image
Congrats to our Chili Cook-off winners (from left) Helen Galvin (1st), David Reed (2nd) and Brandy Schneider (3rd) for their winning recipes at last weekend’s Beerfest and Chili Cookoff. A spirited group of nearly two dozen residents from all corners of the neighborhood turned out, including new and longtime residents and current and former Board members. There were plenty of hors d’oeuvres, leaded and unleaded drinks and plenty of laughs. Best part is: Attendees didn’t have far to go to get home! Up next, a longtime family favorite: our annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Clubhouse. Also, the Pool opening — a Race Day themed neighborhood party with food and drinks — is about two months away! Watch the blog for details on these events and more! On behalf of the Board, Scott Thien , President Want to help with social events? Contact Social Chair Brigette Stephens at bestephens4@gmail.com

Now that 2023 is well underway, it’s time to focus on expenses for the year ahead – and it starts with this year’s annual dues notice. The letter contains your total amount due, information about how to obtain your pool tags, and how a portion of your dues will be used for a long-term capital improvement. Please watch your mailbox this week for your annual invoice. The deadline for payment is 5 p.m. May 1. If we have your email address on file, you will receive a weblink to pay electronically. If you choose this payment method and want pool tags, however, you still need to fill out the paper form mailed to you and drop it in the secure Clubhouse roadside mailbox by May 1. Please make your check payable to ENPOA and mail it along with the completed Pool tags form on the back to Eagle Nest Property Owners Association, 8075 Teel Way, Ind...

Snow is coming -- keep the roads clear (Also, see our Santa Drive-thru photos and holiday lights winners!)

Image
As you probably know, a major winter storm is expected to hit Indianapolis on Thursday and Friday. Our plowing team is ready, but we need your help to keep our neighborhood safe: Please move your vehicles off the street so our contractors can do their best work. Plowed-in cars covered with mounds of ice and snow reduce sightlines and impede safe travel for residents. Please be considerate of your neighbors and comply with our safety request (or your vehicle risks being towed). Speaking of plowing, please be patient. Plowing for 419 homes takes time. Our primary goal is to clear the main drags for emergency vehicle access; courts may get one pass before getting finished later. Depending on the accumulation, plowing may wait until the storm ends. So, please, be patient. Problems or concerns? Contact Board President  Scott Thien  at scottthien@comcast.net 3rd Annual Santa Drive-thru a hit with families (photos!)
