Annual Pool Party draws steady crowd

A quick thanks to all who turned out for the annual Eagle Nest Pool Party on Sunday, August 9. Despite the threat of rain (which held off until early evening), the event went on without a hitch and a steady stream of residents turned out to join the fun.

Dozens of pieces of chicken and hotdogs and a huge cooler of lemonade provided by the Board were gone by the end of the day, as were the many delicious side dishes provided by residents who attended. Dozens of people passed through the Clubhouse throughout the afternoon, and there were plenty of kids on hand to enjoy the pool and playground.

Our lifeguard staff did a fantastic job organizing games with prizes for the kids, too.

Thanks to everyone who donated food, desserts and snacks for all to enjoy. Thanks also to our Social Committee for organizing such a fine activity for residents -- longtimers and newcomers -- to gather and enjoy each other's company.

Community events like this and your participation help make Eagle Nest the best neighborhood on the Northeastside!

Up next: Join us Sept. 27 at the Clubhouse for a Colts game watch party with food and drinks and more neighborhood camaraderie! Keep an eye on the Eagle Nest blog for more information.
