Board Update: Please move your vehicles before storm hits, North Shadeland Alliance e-newsletter, status of downed streetlight

As you know, Indianapolis is expecting its first major snowstorm of the season beginning Wednesday night, Feb. 2, through Thursday, Feb. 3. To help ensure the safety of residents, the Board requests residents remove all vehicles from the roadways and courts so our plowing contractor can work quickly and efficiently. Neither the Board nor its plowing contractor will be responsible for vehicles that are "plowed in" on streets because they weren’t moved. In addition, any vehicle that poses a safety hazard – particularly those on curves or at intersections – will be towed in the interest of public safety. Please spread the word. If your neighbor routinely parks in the street, please help us and ask them to move their vehicle(s) for the sake of our community. We realize it may be a temporary inconvenience, but nobody likes having to navigate around dangerous snow mounds left by cars during deep-freeze months. Also, please be patient. Board Update: 2021 in review, coming in 2022, directories, IMPD donations, parking reminder

A LOOK BACK AT 2021 – AND WHAT’S AHEAD IN 2022 As we usher in 2022, the Board hopes everyone’s new year is off to a happy and healthy start. We also would like to thank all our residents for making Eagle Nest the best neighborhood around in 2021. It was a busy year, to be sure, despite the continued COVID-19 climate, economic uncertainty for many and what seems to be an increasingly complicated way of life. But that didn’t slow us down from enjoying a busy – and socially distanced and safe – social calendar, including our annual party, another great pool season with swim lessons, food trucks, pizza and snow cone giveaways, our first dog pool swim and first neighborhood collector car show , our quarterly Crime Watch meetings, and another Santa neighborhood drive-thru . And we look forward to more of the same this year! Nothing is certain, of course, as the health and safety of our residents comes first. But circumstances permitting, we’re looking to bring back our annual Beer Fes...
