Remember our Snow Creation Contest earlier this month? Well, before the snow completely disappears (for now), here are the winners from the year's first heavy snow Jan. 11-12 (left to right): • 1st: 8325 Heron Ct. (Ned, aka the inspiration for our contest) • 2nd: 8329 Dove Ct. (Go Colts! with a snow tunnel out of view) • 3rd: 8318 Heron Ct. (Mr. Buckeye. Boo, say Hoosier fans.) • 3rd runner-up: 8117 Bittern Lane (Mr. Traffic, fitting with all the road construction and pothole repairs going on around us) • 3rd runner up: 8413 E. 82nd (Let’s call him Highlander, because, well, the sword) Each lot won a $25 gift card, along with the Board’s thanks for adding a little character and fun to the neighborhood. Bring on more snow! (Just kidding!)

Hello, Eagle Nest residents. Here’s the latest on our plowing:   - First of two clearings underway. (Started 9 p.m. 75th Street end; 10 p.m. Bittern and Warbler, headed north) - Second plowing will be Monday after accumulation stops. It’s all about keeping our development safe, of course, especially as the temps drop below zero in the days ahead. If you notice vehicles in our roads tonight, please email any Board member or comment here with an address so we can reach out and engage the owner. Thanks, and stay safe.   The Eagle Nest Board

Please spread the word . If your neighbor routinely parks in the street, ask them to move their vehicle(s) for the sake of our community. We realize it may be a temporary inconvenience, but nobody likes having to navigate around icy mounds left by cars, especially on slick roads. Also, please be patient . We will plow the neighborhood -- twice if needed -- bu...
