Double the fun: Playground dedication, Colts watch party at Clubhouse a success
The Eagle Nest Board would like to thank everyone who turned out last weekend for the Playground Dedication and the Colts Watch Party. The dual event was held in recognition of the association's first major grounds improvement in decades (possibly even since the Clubhouse was built in the 1970s), as well as celebrate the great neighborhood life in Eagle Nest. Playground Dedication: About a dozen kids turned out throughout the afternoon to test the slides, the climbing poles, swings and other features of the new set. The Social Committee provided small prizes, cupcakes and juice boxes for the kids on hand to keep their energy going, too. The Board had hoped to have the project finished sooner (ground was broken Sept. 30, with work finished Oct. 23), but Recreation Unlimited's busy installation schedule and the late summer rains caused unexpected delays.
