Every year, judging for our annual Holiday Lights Contest gets tougher and tougher, and 2023 was no exception. This year’s challenge: sizing up more than 100 homes with lot decorations in a variety of colorful shapes, sizes and configurations, some traditional, some creative, all a colorful sign of season. Our independent judge from out-of-state (a former resident, no less!) struggled with all the choices, but after applying stringent judging criteria and washing it through our patented AI matrix, she came up with the following results: 1ST PLACE: 8250 Warbler Way (Tom and Cindy Corbett) Judge’s comment: "Last year's second-place finisher – and previous five-time winner – reclaims the top spot, though barely as competition was stiff all across the neighborhood.
