Eagle Nest board elections on June 20

Do you want a say in neighborhood decisions? Want to help ensure Eagle Nest remains one of Indianapolis' most desirable places to live? Run for the board of the Eagle Nest Property Owners Association.

Four director openings will be available, two of which are positions currently held by director Angie Obergfell and vice president Scott Thien. Both Angie and Scott plan to run again.

The third director position was vacated by Chris'e Van Meter, who resigned to assume secretary/bookeeper duties. The fourth position being vacated is held by current board president Don Rosen, who is stepping down after three terms on the board. Vice President Scott Thien plans to run for the office of president.

If you are interested in running for the board, please send an email to scottthien@comcast.net and include the following information: your name; address; lot number; current occupation; short bio (a few sentences); your "platform" or reason for running. Your information will be published on this site in order for residents to consider your qualifications.

Residents have until June 13 to submit their candidacy to scottthien@comcast.net. Ballots will be available on this site and at the Eagle Nest Clubhouse shortly after that. All ballots must be delivered to the Clubhouse mailbox by June 20. Voting will begin promptly at 7 p.m.
