Well, it was an off week from our predetermined schedule  -- only the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Tuesdays of each month feature food trucks. There were five Tuesdays in June. Details, details, we know, but never fear – Chef TLC resumes our rotation next Tuesday, July 6. Watch the blog and Facebook for more details. In the meantime, thanks for your interest and support! Pool reopens at 3 p.m. today (June 22)

Image
Great news -- the pool reopens at 3 p.m. today (June 22)! Our water clarity is returning (although guards may limit deep-end use) after last week's nasty weather and a minor mechanical issue with our pumps.  We know the closures were disappointing and inconvenient, but resident safety comes first, of course. Thanks for your patience and understanding. As always, our goal is to be open daily, but we'll take the occasional disruption in service to maintain our high standards. We're lucky to have such a wonderful facility at our disposal, especially when you consider Indianapolis is only able to open seven of its 20 city pools this summer because of a lifeguard shortage. Luckily, our guard staff was secured early, and they've been doing a great  job keeping our facility safe and clean. If you haven't been to our facility yet this year, please take a moment to refamiliarize yourself with our pool rules . Feel free to reach out to any Board member with suggestions. (And

Pool closed Sunday, June 20

Image
Due to a chemical imbalance prompted by debris from the recent storms, our community pool is closed today, Sunday, June 20. The water is too cloudy for guards to see the bottom of the pool floor. Resident safety is our No. 1 priority, of course, so we will be working with our water quality vendor to assess next best steps and hope to reopen Monday or Tuesday. Watch our blog or Facebook page for the latest updates on reopening.

Utility installation alert for Warbler, Bittern residents

Image
If you live in or near the 7700-7800 blocks of Warbler Way and 8000-8100 blocks of Bittern Lane you'll notice SamCo crews marking utility lines in the area. AES Indiana (formerly IPL) plans to upgrade power conduits on both sides of the street with boring equipment to push lines underground and connect with transformer boxes. Most of the work will be done in the easements but may require limited yard disruption. Eagle Nest does not have a timetable for the work, but you'll know the exact digging areas once red lines are spray-painted in the grass/street. Contact AES for more information: https://www.aesindiana.com/contact-us
