Beer Fest III draws record crowd!

Simply put, our Brew Fest III was a hit. A record turnout of about 40 people filled the Clubhouse on Saturday, Jan. 30, for a great night of food, conversation, card games, karaoke and, well, ... beer, of course. A mix of new and longtime residents from virtually every corner of the neighborhood brought nearly 20 growlers of various IPAs, pilsners, ales, among other styles, from area craft breweries, including Sunking, Upland, Books and Brew, Bier, Black Acre and Blind Owl. It was an impressive display of brews to be sure, with something for nearly every discerning palate. As the night progressed, things got a little interesting when Board member Kim Isaak broke out her karaoke machine. Several of those on hand took their turn at the mic, providing plenty of laughs as "singers" performed their take on popular songs.
