Reminder: Due date for annual Eagle Nest dues is May 1 -- just days away!

Eagle Nest residents, A quick reminder that our annual dues of $375 are, well, due on Monday, May 1. Yes, we know its a pain, but that a huge bargain our development's amenities compared those in surrounding neighborhoods. After May 1, however, residents lose the $25 credit and will owe the full $400 amount, plus a $50 late fee. Payments need to be postmarked by Monday, April 30, or placed in the secure roadside mailbox in front of the Clubhouse, 8075 Teel Way, by midnight May 1. The mailbox will be emptied promptly at 12:01 a.m. May 1, so please plan accordingly. On June 1, any unpaid lots will be turned over to our lawyer for collection, and that adds additional penalties, lawyer processing fees and possible court costs. Tired of potholes in the neighborhood? Help us report them!

If you spot a pothole in Eagle Nest, please help the Board -- and your fellow residents -- by reporting it to the city via the Mayor's Action Line. The more pothole reports residents file, the better our chances of getting them filled. Filing a report is quick and easy, too. Here's the link: http://maps.indy.gov/RequestIndy Several residents have contacted the Board about the holes on Tanager Lane just inside the Hague Road entrance, as well as the cluster of holes at the intersection of Warbler Way and Tanager. Reports have been filed on those this week, so hopefully we'll see action soon. In the meantime, please use caution while driving in these areas. Thanks in advance for your help. At least two of those members intend to run for re-election. If you are interested in running for an open seat, watch the blog in the next month or so for details on how to file your candidacy. You also can send an email to scottthien@comcast.net for more information about the volunteer positions.
