As summer winds down, it's time to gear up for the start of school with ... drum roll please ... food trucks!  That’s right, we’re excited to report another summer of great food vendors will be visiting our development most Tuesdays, starting August 9 through October 25. We know it can be scramble to whip up dinner on school nights, especially after you've been working all day, so our food truck partners got you covered! First up: The Latin Flavor , a rising local favorite serving, well, Latin-inspired street tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, tacos and more (Don’t forget the homemade fruit water). The Latin Flavor has been spotted all over town, pulling in rave reviews for their flavorful, hearty servings cooked fresh on the spot. (Check them out on Facebook .) Save the dates: Aug. 9, Sept. 13, Oct. 11 (6 to 8 p.m.) But that’s not all. The trucks are the first of several activities for both kids and adults lined up by new Social Committee Chair and Board member Brigette St

Board update week of July 11, 2022: Election results, pool updates, new streetlight installed

Board welcomes 2 new members after election The Board congratulates and welcomes new Directors Brigette Stephens and Susan Millander to the team, both elected during the June Annual Meeting at the Clubhouse. About Brigette: Brigette, her husband and their two kids moved to 8238 Warbler Way from Fishers in 2019 because of the homey feel of our development. “There is so much that we love about the neighborhood: our house, the mature trees, the amenities, and also how much neighbors care about neighbors. We lived in our last house for about three years and only knew the name of one neighbor - the Eagle Nest neighbors that we have met are how neighbors should be. Heck, I love it so much that I convinced my parents to move into the neighborhood.” About Susan: Susan moved to 8104 Teel Way in November 2021 from the Seattle area after more than four decades in the Northwest. Susan grew up in Northwest Indiana, and she relocated to Indianapolis to be closer to relatives around the state. Eagl

Pool update, July 7: We’re open until 9 p.m. tonight!

Yep, you read that right, we’re open until 9 p.m. tonight! Our water-quality issues have been resolved, and we have the all-clear from the Marion County Health Department to resume use of the facility. Guards are on duty now, so come on down and beat the heat with our special extended hours. We know it was an inconvenience to have the pool out of commission for a couple of days this week, so our Pool staff rearranged their schedules so resident could enjoy our great facility a little longer. There’s a 90% chance of rain on Friday, so take advantage of this rare opportunity. (Reminder: Our weekend hours are 10-7 Saturday and 11-7 on Sunday.) We thank everyone for their patience! The Eagle Nest Board

Pool closed (again) for water quality maintenance

Pool update: Unfortunately, as of 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, our Pool is closed again due to unacceptably high chlorine levels. We recently installed a new pump, and it's been a struggle to get the water quality rebalanced. Per the Health Department's mandate, we are closed until the water quality is addressed again. We are targeting reopening mid/late week. Watch our blog and Facebook page for updates. On behalf of our aging facility, we apologize for the inconvenience, but as always it's safety first when it comes to our residents. Questions? Contact Board President Scott Thien at scottthien@comcast.net P.S.: Please note our blog and Facebook page are our official communications channels. We do not monitor or answer questions about the neighborhood on Next Door.
