Holiday activities coming soon -- Cookies with Santa and Holiday Decorating Contest!
The holiday season has arrived in Eagle Nest with two wonderful neighborhood traditions. First, our annual Cookies with Santa party will be Sunday, Dec. 15, from 3-4 p.m . in the Clubhouse. In addition to decorating yummy cookies, new activities and fun games led by neighborhood resident Christique Wellington will join the fun time with the visit from Santa. Don't stand in line at the mall to pay for a picture with Santa; it's much less stressful and free at our own Clubhouse. Grandparents, feel free to bring your special kids, too! Don't miss the fun! Also, our annual Holiday Decorating Contest in Eagle Nest will be judged on Monday, Dec. 16 , so have all your lights and other decorations out by 6 p.m. The top three winners will receive gift cards in appreciation for your efforts. Your holiday lights surely help brighten up the gray days of December and make our neighborhood warmer and inviting. Submitted by Alice Miley
