Reminder: ENPOA dues are due May 1

A quick reminder that Eagle Nest Property Association dues of $350 are due by May 1. Please submit payment to the address listed on the dues letter.

As previously posted on this blog, the ENPOA Board of Directors was able to offer a $40 credit to each homeowner, resulting in the lowest dues amount in nearly a decade! The board is confident this reduction will in no way impact the services or quality of living our neighborhood has to offer.

 This is a one-time credit, however, and cannot be guaranteed in the future, given unforeseen budgetary needs. The regular dues amount of $390 was set by previous ENPOA boards, yet through diligent cost containment and effective management your directors have been able to offer credits the past three years.

If payment is not received by June 1, ENPOA will turn your account over to our attorney for collection and a late fee and interest will be charged. Once the account is transferred to the lawyers, it's out of our hands.

The Board is proud to recognize the following lots as winners of our 2023 Curb Appeal Awards, presented to Eagle Nest owners for their outstanding lot and house maintenance. Board Update, 05-22-23: Pool opening, tags in mail; annual Garage Sale; dues deadline June 1; Annual Meeting and Board Election June 15

Summer unofficially begins Memorial Day weekend, and that means our Pool facility will be opening for the season. Our main and wading pools have been power-washed and filled, and our guard team will be working to balance the chemicals this week. Weather permitting, we are targeting noon Sunday for opening, but watch the Eagle Nest blog and our Facebook page for the official day and time. For 2023, hours of operation will be noon to 8 p.m. daily. We have a great lifeguard team in place again this year. Their No. 1 charge? Safety. When it comes to rules, what our guard staff says goes. No exceptions. Violators will be ejected and referred to the Board for further action. Bottomline: This is a family-oriented neighborhood facility, not a public pool playhouse, and want to keep it enjoyable for all. Board update: Pool closing Labor Day, annual dog swim, Curb Appeal Awards, live music coming to Clubhouse!

Pool closes Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4  All good things come to and end, as the saying goes, and that includes our 2023 Pool season. Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4, is the last day of operation for our facility, with hours from noon to 8 p.m. It’s been a great summer of swimming, despite a few mechanical and staffing issues, so please be sure to thank Pool Manager Samantha Burns and her lifeguard staff for a job well done. For the most part, our facility was staffed and open daily the entire summer, unlike many of the city’s public pools – including nearby Sahm Park. We hope to see all our guards back next year, but if you know someone interested in joining the Eagle Nest Pool staff, please contact Samantha. In the meantime, enjoy these last days of swimming!
