This week's food truck lineup coming to the Clubhouse: Union Jack on Thursday, Serendipy on Saturday!


Another week of quarantine – boo! Another week of food trucks – yay! The Eagle Nest Board has invited two of our most popular vendors back this week: Broad Ripple icon Union Jack on Thursday and award-winning food truck Serendipity on Saturday. Pre-order links below!

Union Jack, 4:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 14: The renowned, decades-old favorite is bringing back its pork tenderloins, Bavarian pretzel bread sticks and queso, fish and chips, mac and cheese and more. Click here to pre-order Union Jack online: https://union-jack-pub.square.site  (Reminder: You can order now, but the truck won't be there until 4:30 p.m. or so.)

Serendipity, 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 16: Winner of the 2019 Central Indiana Food Truck Battle, Serendipity is returning with its eclectic menu of crab cakes, elk burger sliders, hand-cut truffle fries and more.

As Given the ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the advance order option has been a frequent request by residents. Credit cards will still be accepted on site, but such processing may slow down the process. For the safety and convenience of everyone we recommend the online order option for best service. We appreciate everyone's cooperation and understanding with this preferred process.

Obligatory fine print:

 As always, please observe CDC guidelines on social distancing and use of masks, and be careful entering and leaving the Clubhouse parking lot so you don't run over fellow neighbors. Also, the Board asks residents to park in the back lot to keep the traffic pathways clear.

Lastly, even though many dine-in restaurants are slowly reopening this weekend, many will have capacity restrictions and social distancing requirements. The Board will continue inviting food trucks for the next few weeks, but availability may force us to scale back to once a month. The Board hopes everyone’s fall season is off to a great start. October is shaping up to be a busy month in Eagle Nest – read on! 2023 Curb Appeal Awards winners announced! The Board is proud to recognize the following lots as winners of our 2023 Curb Appeal Awards, presented to Eagle Nest owners for their outstanding lot and house maintenance. Board Update, 05-22-23: Pool opening, tags in mail; annual Garage Sale; dues deadline June 1; Annual Meeting and Board Election June 15

Summer unofficially begins Memorial Day weekend, and that means our Pool facility will be opening for the season. Our main and wading pools have been power-washed and filled, and our guard team will be working to balance the chemicals this week. Weather permitting, we are targeting noon Sunday for opening, but watch the Eagle Nest blog and our Facebook page for the official day and time. For 2023, hours of operation will be noon to 8 p.m. daily. We have a great lifeguard team in place again this year. Their No. 1 charge? Safety. When it comes to rules, what our guard staff says goes. No exceptions. Violators will be ejected and referred to the Board for further action. Bottomline: This is a family-oriented neighborhood facility, not a public pool playhouse, and want to keep it enjoyable for all. Board update: Pool closing Labor Day, annual dog swim, Curb Appeal Awards, live music coming to Clubhouse!

Pool closes Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4  All good things come to and end, as the saying goes, and that includes our 2023 Pool season. Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4, is the last day of operation for our facility, with hours from noon to 8 p.m. It’s been a great summer of swimming, despite a few mechanical and staffing issues, so please be sure to thank Pool Manager Samantha Burns and her lifeguard staff for a job well done. For the most part, our facility was staffed and open daily the entire summer, unlike many of the city’s public pools – including nearby Sahm Park. We hope to see all our guards back next year, but if you know someone interested in joining the Eagle Nest Pool staff, please contact Samantha. In the meantime, enjoy these last days of swimming!
