Annual Santa Drive-thru canceled, but judging for Holiday Lights Contest still on for Sunday, Dec. 22
With Christmas just days away, Santa and Mrs. Claus wanted to Board to pass along their best wishes for a happy and safe holiday season. Unfortunately, the jolly old couple's schedule is extremely tight this year, so they won’t be able to host our traditional drive-thru event. We’ll miss them, of course, but understand it’s a crazy busy world out there.
That said, the jolly old couple were so happy to see the dozens of kids and families who turned out for Cookies with Santa earlier this month at the Clubhouse. Thanks to social co-chairs Marcella Kates and Sarah Craney for organizing everything. We’ll try to get on Santa’s calendar earlier next year for the drive-thru and wish him and Mrs. Claus (aka Warbler residents Tom and Cindy Corbett) all the best in 2025.
But wait, there’s still holiday excitement ahead for Eagle Nest: Judging is Sunday night (Dec. 22) for our annual Holiday Lights Contest. Just make sure your lights and yard decorations are turned on from 7–10 p.m. so our secret panel of judges can size things up. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner win gift cards and bragging rights for making Eagle Nest the most spirited neighborhood around!
