Egg-citing! Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Clubhouse draws dozens of kids

Thanks to all the kids and parents who gathered for Sunday’s annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Clubhouse. A record turnout of more than two dozen kids (above) scrambled for plastic eggs filled with candy spread around the playground area – a hunt that lasted barely 15 minutes! Those kids are fast! Parents had a great time, too, taking photos of their kids, many of whom were out for their first holiday egg hunts. Afterward, families fanned out around the grounds to take inventory of their loot (and sample a treat or two) and enjoy our playground facilities. Of course, the nice weather was a welcome change from last year’s wind and freezing rain/snow mix! The Board hopes everyone had a great time. (Thanks to Social Committee members Alice and Scott Miley for coordinating!) If you want to join the Social Committee or have kid-friendly/family-friendly event ideas, please contact Alice Miley at alicemiley23@gmail.com.

The hunt was a part of the 2017 Eagle Nest social calendar. So far this year, the Board and Social Committee have sponsored a Beer Fest and Crime Watch Meeting. Up next: The Pool opens Memorial Day weekend, and our Annual Neighborhood Garage Sale will be early June. Watch the blog for more details.

As always, your Board is at your service -- please contact us if you have questions/suggestions/concerns about our wonderful development. Happy Easter!
