Food truck lineup week of May 25: Bagel Boss (new brunch time!) and ChefTLC

Eagle Nest residents,

Even though Marion County restaurants are opening on May 22, many  will have seating and capacity restrictions and reduced hours. As a continued convenience for residents, the Board has lined up more food trucks and vendors to carry us through the end of the month. Who’s coming and when:

Bagel Boss, Monday, May 25, 9 a.m. to noon -- NEW TIME!

Back by popular demand, @BagelBossIndy will be serving up their crazy good signature New York-style steamed bagel sandwiches for brunch, made fresh individually with from a wide menu of breakfast and lunch options (photos), wrapped in foil to stay hot. Prices range from $6 to $8; sides sold separately include chips, potato and pasta salad and cookies. Cash or credit cards accepted. You also can text ahead and pay via Venmo at (317) 997-7826.

ChefTLC, Thursday, May 28, 5 to 8 p.m.: Who needs a food truck when you have a food bus!? @Chef_TLC is returning with their menu of soul-influenced comfort food – and this time they’re bringing more staff and more peach cobbler! Cook-to-order options include grilled steak and cheese sandwiches, chicken wings, grilled hamburgers, hand-breaded tenderloins, chicken wraps, grilled or fried chicken strips, even a Beyond Burger (meatless), all ala carte for $8 or with a side including french fries, sweet potato fries, onion pedals, mushrooms, jalapeno poppers or fried ravioli for $3 each. Cash or credit cards accepted. You also can call ahead or text your order to (317) 389-1968 and arrange a pickup time.

Obligatory fine print: As Always, please respect CDC guidelines on social distancing during ordering and pickup. Also, please park in the back lot to prevent vehicle congestion and use caution entering and exiting the Clubhouse parking lot.

If you have food truck contacts or suggestions, please contact Board President Scott Thien at scottthien@comcast.net. In the meantime, watch the Eagle Nest blog and Facebook page for more neighborhood outreach efforts as we work through the COVID-19 crisis. Stay safe, stay healthy!
