Great turnout for Cookies with Santa

Eagle Nest residents have another activity that looks like it will become an annual event. The Cookies with Santa event on Sunday, Dec. 7, was attended by about 40 kids and adults. The kids enjoyed the cookie decorating and coloring Christmas pictures.  But the highlight, of course, was Santa's arrival!  After talking with each child and giving each child a chocolate Advent calendar, everyone participated in an energetic Chicken Dance and the Hokey-Pokey!  Then Santa played his accordion and played a fun game with the kids.

The adults asked Santa for a Colts' win, and with the awesome TV in the clubhouse, we all saw the exciting finish! Go Colts!

Thanks to social committee members Kelly Wright, Angie Corkwell, Renee Schwegman, Kathy Cruz and Kelly Dentler for organizing. Special thanks to Angie Corkwell for arranging such a fun Santa!

The next neighborhood event is the second annual Beer Fest (adults only) on Sat. Jan. 24.
