Heads-up: Effective Monday, Aug. 11, daily Pool hours modified to 4-8 p.m., weekends unchanged

Image
Now that school has started, we've seen a decline in daily Pool use, and our lifeguard availability has been impacted, as well. As a result, we've modified our Pool hours of operation for the rest of the season. Effective Monday, Aug. 11: Open weekdays from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday hours remain the same: noon to 8 p.m. These changes are effective until the facility closes for the season on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1. We know these changes may be inconvenient or surprising for some, but our guard staffing flexes every year as resident Pool use slows down. Even with reduced hours, Eagle Nest still provides a venue and service unmatched by surrounding neighborhoods, thanks to our committed guard staff and Pool Manager Samantha Burns . Sure, the Pool has seen a few green water days, but water quality has been certified safe. And we’ve been open daily (OK, one late opening) since Memorial Day – not a lot of area facilities can say that! We hope residents have been enjoying w...

Kona Ice is coming to our Annual Summer Party and Pitch-in on Sunday, Aug. 3!

Image
That's right -- free shaved ice treats for all the kids (OK, adults, too) during our Annual Summer Party and Pitch-in on Sunday at the Clubhouse. We'll also have free fried chicken and beverages provided by the Board, and residents are encouraged to contribute a side dish or dessert. The fun starts at noon and ends at 2 p.m. Can't stay for the food? No worries, grab a Kona Ice treat to go, compliments of the Board. (Please show your Pool fob to the truck operator as proof of residency.) Please caution entering and leaving the Clubhouse parking lot as little Eagle Nesters may be running to and from the truck. As the summer winds down and kids go back to school, our summer party tradition is a great opportunity to catch up with your neighbors and unite in celebrating the good life in the Nest!
